Marielle Reed: Announced as 2017 Feature Twirler


Marielle Reed, originally from Ringgold, GA, is a senior at Kennesaw State University pursuing her Bachelor of Music in Music Education with a concentration in voice. As a former member of the Kennesaw State University 2014-2015 Dance Team and the co-founder of KSU’s Club Sports Dance Team, she is thrilled to take the field again in support of the Owls – this time as the Feature Twirler of the KSUMB!

Marielle’s choreography has recently been used by the Fanin County High School Cheer Team of Blue Ridge, GA and in January of 2017 she served as choreography clinician for the Neenah High School Show Choirs in Neenah, WI.  Marielle has been an active member of University organizations to include; Sigma Alpha Iota, the American Choral Director’s Association, and the Collegiate National Association for Music Educators. In her spare time, she enjoys teaching private voice lessons, reading, and having movie marathons with her sisters.  She can’t wait be a part of “The Marching Owls” next fall!
