Marianna Reeves: Announced as 2018 Feature Twirler

Marianna Reeves grew up in LaGrange, Georgia. She is a Junior at Kennesaw State University pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing with a minor in Psychology. She is very excited to be starting the KSU Nursing Program this fall!

Marianna has been twirling since she was five years old with Stars and Stripes Twirling Corporation and considers twirling one of her greatest passions. In high school, she held the position as Feature Twirler for LaGrange High School Marching Band for three years. Throughout her twirling career, she has competed in many competitions and won numerous awards. One great achievement was winning the Lake Martin Invitational Class AA Feature Majorette Superior Rating and Class AA Feature Majorette Best in Class when she competed with her high school. Although she loves competitions, her favorite thing about twirling are the experiences that come along with performing.  She has had the opportunity to twirl in a Disney World parade, at the Georgia Dome, and with the Auburn University Honor Band in a halftime show. The twirling activity has also allowed her to twirl for great causes like Paint the Town Pink, which is a walk for breast cancer survivors.

Outside of twirling, Marianna loves hiking, Pilates, and spending time with her family and friends. She is ecstatic to be continuing her passion for twirling as she represents the Kennesaw State Marching Owls as their 2018 Feature Twirler!
